Last updated on SEPTEMBER 13, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Tuxedo Application Runtime for CICS and Batch - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Sometimes the command "EXEC CICS START TRANSID I782" does not return any error but transaction I782 is not instantiated.

The network connection of a  target terminal has been terminated due to iptables or firewall. The following trace was output

135730.612.mytmsmachginel8!ARTTCPH.25690364.1.-2: Terminal Disconnected during transaction.

The START TRANSID to the target terminal was called but, at that time, the target terminal was not available already.
