Symptoms

Capture 10g scans a 55 page document in 27 seconds while Capture 11g takes 1:50 for the same document.

The two versions of Capture should perform equally well.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Scan a document in 10g while timing the event
2. Scan a document in 11g while timing the event
3. Compare the two timings to see that 11g scan rate is roughly 4X as long
