Last updated on NOVEMBER 29, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle WebCenter Content: Imaging - Version 11.1.1.6.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When rotating documents in the Imaging Advanced Viewer, and then applying any sort of annotation, the annotation orientation is not correct.

When an image is rotated AFTER imported into the imaging environment. TEXT, STICKY, and RUBBER STAMP annotations are not placed on the image in the same orientation as the rotated image.

e.g. Import/Upload an image into the system. Rotate the image and save the new page orientation. Add one of the 3 annotations mentioned above, and note the annotation is placed on the image in the image's original page mode/orientation.

If an image is imported into the system, and no page orientation is required. Any one of the annotations (TEXT, STICKY, and/or RUBBER STAMP) can be placed on the image in the correct page orientation.
