RMAN Able To Delete Archive Logs Which Are Still Not Read By Integrated Extract

Symptoms
RMAN does not retain the archivelogs required by the IE process. The archivelogs could get purged even if they are not read by the IE process. This happens when OGG 12.1 and above is used along with deletion policy is set to NONE.
CONFIGURE ARCHIVELOG DELETION POLICY TO NONE;
In Earlier versions, OGG would not allow to delete the archivelog by giving the below warning.
RMAN-08137: WARNING: archived log not deleted, needed for standby or upstream capture process
archived log file name=/app/oracle/product/12.1.0/dbs/arch1_29_910462923.dbf thread=1 sequence=29
archived log file name=/app/oracle/product/12.1.0/dbs/arch1_29_910462923.dbf thread=1 sequence=29
