ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

Query builder has metadata values grayed out

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

metadata drop down should be functioning

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps using Internet explorer:
1.  Use expanded search
2. Metadata drop down is grayed out

BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot use full functionality of query builder
