Exapatch Execution Failing With "'NoneType' object has no attribute 'getHostName'" Error During Exalogic Virtual 2.0.6 Upgrade (Doc ID 2146394.1)

Symptoms

In Exalogic Virtual racks after upgrading from 2.0.4.X to 2.0.6.X, issue of Exapatch script execution failing with "'NoneType' object has no attribute 'getHostName'" error is seen. Exapatch script being used is part of 2.0.6 Upgrade kit.

This failure is seen when running Exapatch script to upgrade the guest vServers from 2.0.4.X to 2.0.6 and also when doing validation of rack configuration using the following checkAuthentication command:

When looking at the Exapatch log we see the same "'NoneType' object has no attribute 'getHostName'" error with no additional details.
