Symptoms
On : 11.1.1.5.0 version, Content Server
All the production UCM servers stopped serving the content after a restart of the managed servers.
The system is a two node clustered 11.1.1.5 content server. Found after the restart the idccs_components.hda file was corrupted.
This file no longer has references to custom components enabled in the system
1. Will this file get corrupted by itself or is there any specific scenario in which this file gets corrupted ?
2. Root cause of why this file got corrupted all of the sudden on our production servers which caused the outage ?
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Attempt to start all UCM cluster nodes at the same time.
Changes
