Symptoms

There is a performance glitch when database version 12c fixed objects are described.
The same works faster against database 11.2.0.4 or earlier database versions. This is seen with GUI tool SQL*Developer and with the latest version. The same when described using a SQL*plus interface shows up relatively faster retrieval.

Be it Basic or TNS mode of connection, the results are the same.

This glitch is also seen against 11.2.0.1 and 11.2.0.2 database versions.
