Goal

Question 1

In Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12.1.2, the "OS Command" utility shows at the top of the "all" section in the toolbox. In version 12.2.1 it is not showing here, is the OS Command utility still available in 12.2.1?

Question 2

In version 12.1.2, both utilities (OS Command and OdiOSCommand) were available. Each utility had slight differences in the way it worked.

  1. Is the OS Command utility no longer delivered as part of ODI?

  2. Does the OdiOSCommand utility work the same as the OS Command utility that was delivered in version 12.1.2 of ODI?

  3. Does ODI 12.2.1 support the use of the OS Command utilities that were created prior to 12.1.2 version? Will the existing OS Command utility instances need to be replaced with the OdiOSCommand utility?
