Symptoms
Whenever an ear file is redeployed through the Weblogic console in 12.1.1 by using update option, then a new ear file gets deployed. This happens only in WLS 12.1.1. Not reproducible in WLS 10.3.6 or 12.1.2 or higher.
Changes
This happens with standalone WLS 12.1.1 installation which comes with default patches installed.
