Euro Sign (€) in a Reusable Mapping Causes an Error when Generating Code in ODI 12C (Doc ID 2159245.1)

Symptoms

When using a euro sign (€) in an expression of an Oracle Data Integrator(ODI) reusable mapping X and using that reusable mapping in another mapping Y then the code generation process (e.g. simulation) throws an error.

With subselect enable, run the mapping Y and the following error occurs:
