OAM Response Headers For Missing LDAP Attributes Change From 11.1.2.2.0 To 11.1.2.3.0 (Doc ID 2160071.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 31, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Access Manager - Version 11.1.2.3.5 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When using OAM 11.1.2.2.x if a user accesses a WebGate protected application, after authentication an authorization response header (or cookie) is set based on an LDAP attribute for the authenticated user.  If the user does not have a value for the LDAP attribute OAM passes the value literal string value NULL in the response header. After upgrading to 11.1.2.3.0 the same response header will contain the string literal NOT_FOUND.
