Symptoms

In WebCenter Content 11.1.1.9.0PSU-2016-01-28 13:14:49Z-r139317 -> Bundle version 160208 using ADF Content UI version 11.1.1.9.0 ‪(‬20151117.1729‪)‬, with associated SSL on an Apache server (rather than on a WebLogic server), users are unable to launch content in its native application from the browser interface ("check out and edit" functionality is not working).
