Symptoms

After upgrading Enterprise Application from WebLogic Server 10.3.6 with Java 6 to WebLogic Server 12.2.1 with Java 8, an EAR file deployment fails with the below error stack. 

 

Below extract of stack trace is from WebLogic Server logs found in the default  '<DOMAIN_HOME>/servers/<MyServerName>/logs' directory.
