Applies to:
Oracle HTTP Server - Version 12.1.2.0.0 to 12.1.3.0.0 [Release 12c]Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
In 12c, Dn (distinguished name) elements of an SSL certificate are being returned in reverse order when compared to 10g or 11g.
mod_plsql and CGI allow to extract these attributes as enviroment variable for processing. While comparing DNS inside a DB with those extracted, it fails as the order of the attributes has been changed.
