Symptoms

On : 12.1.3.0.0 version OSB, Java Platform Security

Trying to run the grantAppRole fails to work with AD group, from <MW_HOME>/oracle_common/common/wlst/jpsWlstCmd.py

The error saying that it cannot find weblogic_administrators in groups from the Weblogic's security realm although it was added in the Weblogic's security realm.
