Symptoms
On Linux OS, When 11.1.1.6 Webtier is installed and configured, the configuration phase hangs and errors out during OHS component startup.
The following errors are written to the install[date/time].log:

Installing 32bit Webtier on 64bit OS.
Though it is not supported from standalone Fusion Middleware point of view, this seems to be a requirement for some other Oracle products such as Siebel.
