Information in this document applies to any platform.
Users cannot login after adding external authentication provider in UCM 12c. The same provider configuration is used in 11g however and users are able to login successfully.
Turned on authentication tracing (ATN) by following the instructions in the KM <Note 1324682.1> below
The managed server log reported the following error message:
Added external authentication provider (e.g., AD) in the WLS console.
