WSM-00015 When Calling a service from a SOA Composite Using the WSDL of the Service (Doc ID 2173574.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 06, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Web Services Manager - Version 12.2.1.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

A service is called from a SOA composite using the WSDL of the service.
The service is secured with an oracle/wss_username_token_service_policy, so the attempt is made to use the oracle/wss_username_token_client_policy in the SOA reference.   Also a credential key is created using the EM console using the menu option WebLogic Domain > security > credentials that will be used to provide the appropriate user name and password from the client to the service.  The client policy parameter csf-key is set using the name of the credential key created.

The interaction of the client with the service is failing with an error similar to the following:

Unable to invoke endpoint URI
"http://<HOST>:<PORT>/mftapp/services/MFTEventService" successfully due to: oracle.fabric.common.PolicyEnforcementException:
WSM-00015 : The user name is missing.
