Symptoms
Cannot Add an External URL into Navigation Model
In a 12c WebCenter Portal creating a link in the OOTB navigation model which uses the Redirect Option, and is set to Open in "New Window" or "Same Window"
does not work.
Reference creating Links
If you have the Link set to Open in a New window with redirect checked when you select the link in the Portal you will get and error like
If you have the link set to Open in the Same Window with redirect checked,
selecting the link in the Portal does nothing, no error or redirection.
