Symptoms
Oracle Identity Manager (OIM) configured for LDAPSync with Oracle Virtual Directory (OVD) and Oracle Internet Directory (OID) 11g.
User adapter in OVD was created for backend LDAP Server OID.
Creating a new user in OIM fails.
OIM Server diagnostic log shows the following error:
