Errors migrating DMQ from DECNET to TCPIP

User was moving from DECNet to TCPIP with Oracle Message Q (formerly DMQ 5.0) and encountered error.
The following is the brief history of the migration problems that other users may also encounter:
Initially the error is related to system name configured in %XGROUP does not match gethostbyname()
After this is corrected, user faces memory problem.
Symptoms
The symptoms for 1st problem:
DMQ log files complain that the IP tables on one node are different than the tables on the other node.
