Using JDK 1.7.x to install and configure FMW on RHEL 7 there is a failure in the linking process when trying to relink ORACLE_HOME/bin/hasocket

ERROR : Exception String: Error in invoking target 'all' of makefile '/u01/oracle/product/fmw/PRO_OID/Oracle_IDM1/lib/'

The error that is seen from the ORACLE_HOME/install/make.log shows:

gcc -o /u01/oracle/product/fmw/PRO_OID/Oracle_IDM1/bin/hasocket -L/u01/oracle/product/fmw/PRO_OID/Oracle_IDM1/lib/ -L/u01/oracle/product/fmw/PRO_OID/Oracle_IDM1/lib/ -L/u01/oracle/product/fmw/PRO_OID/Oracle_IDM1/lib/stubs/ /u01/oracle/product/fmw/PRO_OID/Oracle_IDM1/lib/s0hasocket.o /u01/oracle/product/fmw/PRO_OID/Oracle_IDM1/lib/ -ldl -L/usr/lib -lirc -lpthread -lrt

Followed this workaround for the GLIBC_2.14:
