Symptoms
Installing Fusion Middleware 11g 11.1.1.9 Identity Management products such as Oracle Internet Directory or Oracle Virtual Directory
A failure occurs in the linking process when trying to relink ORACLE_HOME/bin/hasocket :
ERROR : Exception String: Error in invoking target 'all' of makefile '<ORACLE_HOME>/lib/ins_asha.mk'
The error that is seen from the ORACLE_HOME/install/make.log shows:
<ORACLE_HOME>/lib/libhasocket.so
- Linking <ORACLE_HOME>/bin/hasocket
