Aggregate Function Is Not Working as Expected After Upgrading from ODI 11g to ODI 12c (Doc ID 2182453.1)

Symptoms

Interfaces in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 11g were using aggregate functions, and "group by" columns.

After upgrading to ODI 12.2.1.1.0 with interfaces converted to mappings, the Aggregate component is not correctly created. The "group by" columns are missing, and due to this, the joins are also not correct.
