The goal of the document is to describe Java option "weblogic.j2ee.application.tmpDir" to improve performance of Administration console.

For eg:

1) Login to Administration Console

2) From "Domain Structure" click "Deployments".

3) From right side pane, select "Configuration" tab.

4) Click some Application to display setting screen.

Step 4) may take a long time because this operation scans the domain directory to find the existing setting if it is on NFS mounted file system.
