LibOVD Operation Timeout Value Changes Post Restart If Set Below Default 120000ms (Doc ID 2190195.1)

Symptoms

Changes to the OVD.AdaptersConfig Operation Timeout is not retained when set to below 120000ms

Changes

1-Enterprise Manager --> Expand Weblogic Domain --> Right Click on Domain
Name --> System MBean browser -> Application defined MBeans -> com.oracle ->
Domain: yourdomain_domain -> OVD -> Adapters config -> OVD.AdaptersConfig ->
Operation Timeout is 120000

2-Set Operation Timeout to a value less than 120000. apply changes
3-Verify the setting in the
$MW_HOME/user_projects/domains/bi/config/fmwconfig/ovd/default/adapters.os_xml

<timeout>12000</timeout>

4-Restart WLS stack
managedserver wls_ods1
adminserver

5-Check the adapters.os_xml setting and it resets to 120000ms

6-Setting to a value greater than 120000 will retain
