On : 12.1.0.2.0 version, Thin JDBC driver

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
No columns returned from DatabaseMetadata.getColumns() after "includeSynonyms" set on Connection .

DatabaseMetadata.getColumns() does not return list of columns for views after "includeSynonyms" option was set on Connection.
DatabaseMetadata.getColumns() returns list of columns for views if "includeSynonyms" option is NOT set on Connection.
