Microsoft Active Directory Password Sync Issue - "AD User Attr Is Not Set In Registry"

Symptoms

Microsoft AD Password Sync 9.1.1.5 connector is installed successfully over a "Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard Edition 64bits".

However, user's passwords are not being propagated to OIM. Connector log files is showing "AD User Attr is not set in registry" message on log file:
