Microsoft Active Directory Password Sync Issue - "AD User Attr Is Not Set In Registry"

Information in this document applies to any platform.
Microsoft AD Password Sync 220.127.116.11 connector is installed successfully over a "Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard Edition 64bits".
However, user's passwords are not being propagated to OIM. Connector log files is showing "AD User Attr is not set in registry" message on log file:
