Symptoms

When using a dependent choice list, the value for the parent field is not populated properly on the search page if the child field is hidden.

When you select a value from the option list, that value is not populated in the text field on the Search form. Only if the field dependent on that option list field is included in the Profile (must be set to Required or Edit, does not work if set to hidden or excluded)
