Symptoms

OBIEE 11.1.1.9.160119 version.
Microsoft Active Directory for user authentication.
Few users' authentication fails.

When user tries to login, OBIEE error is encountered "[OBI-SEC-00015] Unable to find user {0} in identity store".

The failing users gets the string like (orclguid=\52\1f\d5\38\43\c1\ef\4e\af\37\7d\65\3d\5c\25\81)

While the passing users have the search string (orclguid=1F254CD0061B11E5BF98071EE23C0C0E)
