Information in this document applies to any platform.

When using Oracle HTTP Server, the storeUserConfig password files are getting deleted during reboot scripting to Stop/Start OHS.

Goal is to use the auto-start scripts for Oracle HTTP Server 12c instances during the Linux Reboot.

When using the command, the system will prompt for your Node Manager password.

$DOMAIN_HOME/bin/ componentName storeUserConfig

Enter your password.

The system responds with this message:

"Creating the key file can reduce the security of your system if it is not kept in a secured location after it is created. Creating new key...The username and password that were used for this WebLogic NodeManager connection are stored in $HOME/.wlst/nm-cfg-myDomainName.props and $HOME /.wlst/nm-key-myDomainName.props"

The key is the existence of these files:

Calling the same scripts for validating the reboot procedures. The entire ".wlst" directory getting deleted when calling script as root user,

For example: (/bin/su - webadmin -c '/opt/webtier/scripts/ stop') 1>/dev/null
