"java.lang.NumberFormatException: For input string" Error while Clicking the "GENERATE DDL" Option on Model (Doc ID 2197183.1)

Symptoms

Generating DDL on ODI Model fails with the following error even before the "generate ddl " Wizard opens:

The error has been found to occur in two cases so far:

CASE 1:

If a procedure already exists with the same name for the specific Model.

The following error may be seen:

'java.lang.NumberFormatException: For input string: <Number>'
 
Ex.
    'java.lang.NumberFormatException: For input string: "12121212004'

                 

 OR

 

 CASE 2:

When a procedure exists for the specific model AND the name was changed from the default name.

 EXAMPLE:
     Original name: DDL Oracle BI Applications 001
     Changed name: DDL Oracle BI Applications Contract Header Start Date

Once the name was changed and the number removed, the error presented.

The error may present as:

java.lang.NumberFormatException: For input string: ""
