DIS Check-in Via Outlook Does Not Work

When working with Desktop Integration Suite version 18.104.22.1681, connecting to a WebCenter Content Server version 22.214.171.124.x, the Desktop Integration Suite client cannot check-in content through Outlook Integration. The user receives the following two errors:
Event generated by user 'xxxxxx' at host 'xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx'. Error retrieving information about folder 'xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx'. Folder does not exist
Event generated by user 'xxxxxx' at host 'xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx'. Unable to execute service CHECKIN_NEW_SUB and function Imeta.
Invalid date format '1'. Unable to parse date '1'
