On WebLogic Server 10.3.6, when customer enabled the Network Channel with the settings Enabled Outbound and Tunneling Enabled true; it caused below errors at frontend Apache server logs.
The error below appeared (recurrent and intermittent) in the logs of Apache servers (front end):
Customer overall call flow is :- LoadBalancer (hardware appliance) --> Apache ---> WebLogic Server
There is no firewall in this communication. Customer has "my.vip.com.us" which is a VIP (virtual IP) and this is trying to make a connection to Apache server. Apache server httpd.conf files has WebLogicCluster parameter with backend WebLogic logs listen address. Then they configured "my.vip.com.us" in the WebLogic Network Channel as External Listen Address.
