Symptoms
Oracle Internet Directory (OID) 11g becomes unresponsive intermittently.
In some scenarios, oidldapd process crashes creating a stack dump.
Lengthy ECIDs are seen in the OID Server logs.
Log snippet from oidldapd log shows the following:

This problem can happen on older versions like 11.1.1.6 as well, but the long may not show the "SHM memory alloc failed" error
