Symptoms
EKIT can be used to create a template from an existing, customized Guest vServer.
Instructions to create a template are provided in the EKIT Tools User Guide attached to the Document ID : 1933252.1 - Exalogic Kinetic Infrastructure Tools (EKIT): Set of scripts that provide common reusable command line infrastructure actions for Exalogic virtual platforms
When a vServer is created from such an EKIT-generated OL6 custom template (by templatizing an OL6 Guest vServer), it may boot up with a hostname of localhost without EoIB network interfaces.
Upon connecting to the vServer through 'xm console' (since it is not possible to connect over EoIB), the following is observed:

The OL6 Exalgic Guest vServer was upgraded to July 2016 PSU (i.e. 2.0.6.2.160719). This issue may be encountered with earlier or newer EECS releases as well.
