ldapbind fails to ssl port through load balancer host

The physical host name works with a secure port  bind. The load balanced alias hostname does not work with a secure port bind.

The following is from a bind of both.

$ORACLE_HOME/bin/ldapbind -h <OID_HOSTNAME> -p <SSL_PORT> -U 1
bind successful

$ORACLE_HOME/bin/ldapbind -h <LBR_HOSTNAME>  -p <SSL_PORT> -U 1
sgslufread: Hard error on read, OS error = 104
