SOA-Infra HA Composite Application Does Not Deploy Across SOA Coherence Cluster Hosted On Multiple Machines. (Doc ID 2219072.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 21, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Coherence - Version 12.2.1.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

In the firewall enabled environment SOA 12.2.1.x.x. cluster got hosted on multiple machines. Customer sees SOA servers running on same physical machines are forming their own local coherence cluster but not all SOA servers joining to a common single coherence cluster as intended based on the configuration of the SOA domain.

When troubleshooted the network data customer has reported two questions as below given...

1. Why we do not see second UDP port on netstat -a check? When we use second UDP port for coherence cluster member?
2. In this case it is a WLS SOA 12.2.1.x.x domain, WKA configured managed servers formed a coherence cluster but second UDP port not seen at all like in the earlier coherence versions, 12.1.3 and before, even under the firewall/DMZ environment between the machines, why?
