Goal
Verify that the Oracle Access Manager (OAM) server and the WebGate's basic functionalities is working.
This note will cover two methods for testing the WebGate's basic functionality:
The "static page test" -This is used to verify if it a basic functionality issue OAM/Webgate or with a specific protected resource/authentication (authn) scheme by accessing a static page running on the Web server were the Webgate is loaded. The following test if for the OHS 12c Web Server running on UNIX. Note that this test is also good for verifying that any http headers defined as responses are set.
Webgate Diagnostics Page - This page displays useful information related to currently effective Cache configuration parameters. It also displays runtime information about the caches that include information on the number of cached elements, number of hits and misses so far, and current memory usage of individual caches.
