Multiple Tables in the Same Page Makes Next/Previous Buttons Indistinguishable for JAWS
(Doc ID 2227351.1)
Last updated on OCTOBER 21, 2022
Applies to:
Oracle JDeveloper - Version 11.1.1.9.0 to 11.1.1.9.0 [Release Oracle11g]Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
If there are multiple tables in the same page with Next/Previous buttons, JAWS reads the buttons' labels for but there's no way for the user to distinguish which set of Next/Previous buttons are for which table.
For example: when focus is set on "Next 25" for Table 1, JAWS reads "Next 25 Button", and the same for "Next 25" button for Table 2. User can't tell which button is for who.
The same with "Select a Form Field" dialog if user press Insert (JAWS-key) + F5.
