WebLogic 12c - TrustAnchors Parameter Must be Non-empty Error When Doing any Operation on an Application (Doc ID 2229977.1)

Symptoms

Java application deployed on WebLogic 12c - 12.2.1.2.0

New certificates were imported in the custom.jks store. The certificates have been imported correctly.

However when doing any operation on the application, the operation fails and the following error appears in the logs:

The solutions mentioned in the below documents were followed, however the error persisted.
