How To Populate the XML and TXT File with Part of the TIF Filename without Creating New Fields in the WFR Project? (Doc ID 2231089.1)

Goal

Is it possible to pass a component meta-data value in the TIF filename directly to the exported XML and TXT file without requiring a new field to be created in the Project? 

For example, there is a tif file with the name "XXXX_NNNN.tif", and the value "NNNN" is the 4th component in the tif filename.  Is it possible to pass this value in the XML file within an "employeeID" XML tag and also have this value appended to the end of the TXT output file meta-data string?
