Symptoms

Unable to Delete a Multi-Value Attribute Value from a Database Adapter on OVD 11.1.1.9.0

Failure to delete a single value from the multi-value attribute on the database column of the OVD database adapter fails with error:

LDAP: error code 1 - LDAP Error 1 : java.lang.NullPointerException

 

example:

Attempting a ldapmodify using the following ldif fails:

dn: cn=Testgroup,ou=STAGE,ou=groups,dc=example,dc=com
changetype: modify
delete: groupMembership
groupMembership: cn=user1,cn=users,dc=example,dc=com

 

Removing member from group in ODSM is successful.
