Oracle Glassfish Server 3.1.2 with External LDAP Throws Connection Closed Exception (Doc ID 2233560.1)

On Oracle Glassfish Server 3.1.2 , an external LDAP connection is configured as an external JNDI resource and EJB deployed using defined resource.

Everything works fine, but after sometime of inactivity e.g- approx. 30 minutes,the LDAP connection gets closed and Glassfish Server stops working
