Symptoms

Using REST, the EL expressions added to a Navigation are not working correctly.  They are even returning the value is "true".
If the navigation is added directly into the WebCenter Portal as the default one for the "Navigation for Home Portal", it works as expected.

Security settings assigned by an EL expression language in a navigation does not work when the Rest API is used.
The values are not displayed into the REST Page.
