Symptoms

Unable to start JVM controllers

Configured a new JVM controller per the instructions in the following document:
https://docs.oracle.com/middleware/12211/formsandreports/deploy-forms/jvm.htm


Cannot start [default] or [example] JVM Controllers. Cannot start the new JVM Controller from Fusion Middleware Control or from command line. Getting the following error:

<Oracle_Home>/bin> dejvm
-start jvmcontroller=default
/usr/lib/hpux64/dld.so: Unsatisfied data symbol 'uiicxda' in load module
'<Oracle_Home>/lib/libuipr.so'.
Killed



Changes

 Upgraded to Forms 12c.
