How To Change the Export Location For Archiver To Another Server And Use Relative Dates For Export? (Doc ID 2240057.1)

Last updated on APRIL 04, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle WebCenter Content - Version 11.1.1.7.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

1). In order to archive old documents to save space on the system but still have the ability to re-import them if required, Is there any way to modify the Archiver home directory (which defaults to WCC_DOMAIN/ucm/cs/archives/<archive_name>) so that a new path on another server (like to store them on a separate mount than the domain itself) can be specified to store the archives?

2). What sort of communication is needed between those servers?  Is there a certain port that remote server needs to listen on?  Does password-less SSH or anything needs to be set up?

3). Is it possible to edit a query to export files based on relative date?  For example select all documents where release date is more than 30 days ago?

4). Is it possible to schedule this Archiver set-up to run automatically?  If requirement is to run once a week, how can this be set up?
