OUD11g - Disconnect Error "Client requested protocol SSLv3 not enabled or not supported" in EUS Implementation (Doc ID 2243482.1)

Symptoms

SSL handshake fails -

The following error when testing authentication against OUD on the secure port using ldapbind :

ldapbind -h host -p <LDAPS_PORT> -U 1 -D "cn=<OUD_ADMIN>" -w <PASSWORD>
 SSL handshake failed


In SQL*Plus, getting:

ORA-28030: Server encountered problems accessing LDAP directory service


OUD server log is showing the following error:

[28/Feb/2017:17:53:41 -0500] CONNECT conn=820214 from=<CLIENT_IP>:<CONN> to=<SERVER_IP>:<LDAPS_PORT> protocol=LDAPS
[28/Feb/2017:17:53:41 -0500] DISCONNECT conn=820214 reason="I/O Error" msg="Client requested protocol SSLv3 not enabled or not supported"


Additionally, After installing Jan2017 DB BP, as recommended also installed -

-Patch #19285025 (p19285025_12102160719ProactiveBP_AIX64-5L) in the database home.

-JDK 1.7_121 on OUD server, as per Doc ID 2191500.1

There was found that having a wrong directory path that contains the wallet.

Changes

Applied the most recent Database Proactive Bundle Patch (January 2017 DBBP) #24917987
