Symptoms
Capture process is abended due to OGG-01875 after running SQL*Loader Direct Load (direct=true) on RAC env.
In ggserr.log, following messages appear.
2017-03-14 07:36:09 ERROR OGG-01875 Oracle GoldenGate Capture for Oracle, cap01.prm: Classic Extract doesn't support RAC parallel direct load of table.
Changes
This problem reproduces when following all conditions are met.
- Source Database is Oracle, and configured as RAC (there are 2 or above REDO threads).
- Capture is configured as Classic Capture.
- Version of GoldenGate is
- 11.2.1.0.33 or above on 11.2.1
- 12.1.2.1.10 or above on 12.1.2
- from 12.2.0.1.0 to 12.2.0.1.170221 on 12.2.0.1
- Running SQL*Loader Direct Load (specifying DIRECT=TRUE)
