Symptoms

At OUD proxy server startup, see many error messages being posted along the following lines...

[16/Feb/2017:13:12:50 -0600] category=CORE severity=NOTICE msgID=458891 msg=The Directory Server has sent an alert notification generated by class com.sun.dps.server.workflowelement.proxyldap.LDAPServerExtension (alert type com.sun.dps.server.workflowelement.proxyldap.LDAPServerExtension.LDAPServerExtensionDown, alert ID 28770338): The LDAP server extension <HOSTNAME>.<DOMAINNAME>:<LDAPS_PORT> is down

In this example, <HOSTNAME>.<DOMAINNAME>:<LDAPS_PORT> is an Active Directory server that OUD is proxying to.

Changes

Upgraded JDK to 7 Update 71 (or higher).  Prior to the Java upgrade, the OUD proxy was successfully connecting to the AD backend server.
